    To realize this vision, Sunrun is developing advanced technologies, products and services designed to reinvent the way people power their homes.  We are actively looking to hire a world-class talent in our Supply Chain team focused on leading our Indirect strategic procurement and executing sourcing strategies for the Corporate Procurement area for Sunrun. As a key member of the supply chain team and important contributor to Sunrun’s business, you'll collaborate with other passionate leaders in finance, IT, Telecom, Marketing, HR, Facilities Consulting, & Travel while making a real impact to Sunrun.

    This role will ensure the development of best in class category sourcing strategies and expert level knowledge on Procure to Pay (P2P) policy and processes, while demonstrating very good understanding of the industry best practices and market trends. 

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement strategies to enable spend leverage and competitive pricing, quality, delivery and risk management with the supply base
    • Lead Indirect sourcing team to cost savings through advanced spend analytics, building a pipeline of sourcing projects and with the collaborations of the cross functional business teams.
    • Develop & deploy comprehensive Category level strategies.
    • Deliver business results including productivity, working capital improvement, supplier performance and continuity of all Indirect materials and services
    • Ensure involvement of all key functional leaders and stakeholders in the development and finalization of sourcing strategy and deployment plan.
    • Develop clear KPIs for sourcing & purchasing. Establish deliverables and outcomes
    • Supplier Diversity – drive and manage the company effort to provide opportunities to women-and minority-owned businesses to supply our requirements.
    • Lead e-Sourcing best practice strategies, tactics, and supporting tools. Manage the execution of all e-Sourcing auctions
    • Be an influencer in the organization

     

    Qualifications

      
     

     

    • Minimum 8-10 years of a successful track record in corporate procurement.
    • Great leader with a proven track record in managing teams.
    • Strong negotiation and contracting experience
    • Execution skills including persistent drive for results utilizing sound project management, organizational and problem solving skills
    • Strategic thinking skills including an ability to make sound business judgments related to strategic supply philosophies and initiatives.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and instincts. Highly self-motivated; able to operate autonomously in a dynamic environment.
    • Demonstrated creative problem solving and strong analytical skills. Looks for the solution not the problem
    • Ability to work well in a flexible, "roll up your sleeves" and dynamic work environment.
    • A successful track record of working in cross functional teams and within multiple levels of an organization
    • Excellent written and presentation skills required. Accustomed to communicating with senior level functional executives
    • Four year college degree. CPM and/or APICS certifications desirable
