    Solar is an emerging marketplace and solar-as-a-service can be a complex system. By joining our dynamic cross-functional experience team at Sunrun, you will be helping us not only solve a meaty problem but also be part of a larger movement.

     

    ROLE:

    As a visual experience designer, you will help create a mental model of how solar works, both for internal stakeholder and external customers. You have strong visual communications skills, as well as systems approach to design. You’ll be working across various touchpoints: From prospect to sign-off to onboarding experience; from installation to production to consumption across a 20 year solar contract. This is a unique role, where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams like operations, sales, software, customer care and marketing to drive a compelling experience across multiple platforms. You will help us lay the foundation for visual narrative at Sunrun influencing our service, organization and systems.

    Responsibilities

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will:

    • Design a compelling information map of customer’s (lifetime) journey
    • Leverage your visual skills to design customer experiences for moments that matter
    • Transform complex systems into elegant, intuitive and visually compelling experience
    • Express our brand DNA across various channels and touchpoints
    • Create visual libraries and assets for internal audiences, like sales and marketing
    • Create “looks like/works like” prototypes that communicate an experience to customers / stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 3+ years of work experience across a variety of digital media.
    • Strong portfolio and elevated sense of design, color and typography.
    • Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, New Media or other relevant degree.
    • Extensive experience with a variety of graphic and interactive prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Principle, InVision, etc.
